Wild salmon orzo salad—only 6 ingredients! Simple but delicious.
1. Bring a pot of water with a pinch of salt to boil; cook orzo pasta to desired firmness (using the package instructions as a guideline). Drain and set aside to cool.
2. Defrost frozen peas; lightly steam if needed but if not, raw and defrosted is fine. Avoid overcooking to preserve crunchiness.
3. Drain and chop canned salmon; mix with peas, orzo, mayo, black pepper, and sea salt to taste (optional).
Serve room temperature or chill.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Great alternative to boring tuna salad. Thanks for sharing

I thought this recipe looked great but I apparently did not buy the right salmon (dont ask what I found when I opened my can) So instead I substituted tuna, basil, grapes and spinach with a little cumin for spice and its delicious! The possibilities are endless with this salad base!
