An easy salad that pairs berries with a wonderful cheese!
Prep and wash the berries. Set aside.
Using a whisk and small bowl, whisk together vinegar and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
How to prepare halloumi (instructions from chef Michael Foley): Cut the cheese into 1/2-inch thick slices. Heat a non-stick pan on low heat wih 1/8 inch of olive oil. Add the cheese and 1 teaspoon of butter. Cook until the first side is golden brown then gently flip the cheese and cook until the other side is golden brown. Remove it from the pan and allow cheese to cool slightly on a plate lined with paper towels.
Toss salad greens and berries on your plate. Top with cheese and drizzle dressing over the top.

This sounds great! But we need your help with a couple of things:
– Would you go into the ingredients list and add in the specific size (in ounces, or whatever applies) of the package of halloumi? If you’ll enter the line as follows, this will ensure that folks get the right amounts of the packaged items when/if they use our system to multiply the recipe: 2 – cans – Cream of Chicken Soup (10 ounce cans) … We’ve got a lot of members overseas, in places where packaging varies. So if you’ll make sure to include package sizes on all recipe submittals it would be really helpful.
– Also, would you add an approximate amount of oil and any other required ingredients under the halloumi header that I added in the ingredients list?
When done making the changes, just click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted!
Thanks,
