Description

I confess, I made it up. I like that it’s simple and good graciously delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Pasta (I Used Bowtie Because It's Pretty)
  • 4 strips Thick Cut Bacon
  • 1 cup Zucchini From Your Neighbors Garden!
  • 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic

Preparation

Cook the pasta, set it aside in a bowl…just waiting for the good stuff.

Cut the bacon into chunks and fry ‘em up good.

Chop the zucchini and saute it in – *gasp* dare I say it? – the bacon grease.

Throw this all in the bowl with the pasta, add the oil, salt, pepper and garlic and mix it up!!!

I couldn’t wait….I ate it warm. I’m sure it would taste just as loverly cold, but hoo-wee! It was fabulous when it was warm!

You might need to add a little more oil, it depends on how much of the bacon grease you drained. I’m just guessing at the amount. As I said, I made it up and I don’t measure when I do that. Should I? Who knows.
