Probably my favorite salad … ever.

  • 1 pound Bacon
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise

  • ¼ cups White Wine Vinegar
  • 2 bunches Broccoli (about 10 Cups)
  • 1 whole Small Red Onion Or Green Onion
  • ½ cups Craisins Or Raisins

Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp and crumble into small pieces.

There wouldn’t be anything to marinate without the dressing

I love this salad too! Just one quick question on your instructions. So do you put the salad dressing on the veggies before refrigerating for the 8 hours or do you pour it over the veggies a few minutes prior to serving? I didn’t know if it would get soggy. If you’ll add this quick clarification to the instructions, then click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’, we’ll get this posted.
Thanks,
TKNanci

Outstanding! We don’t like raw broccoli, so I microwaved it with a bit of water for 5 minutes, then plunged it in ice water. It was still very crunchy, but not raw. Letting it sit overnight is critical.

I LOVE THIS SALAD!!
My husband loves it too-and he doesn’t like salads at all..!
My aunt also adds Red Table Grapes cut in half lengthwise-it makes it extra sweet and crisp.

This was a big hit! It actually surprised me how much my husband liked it but now everyone is asking when I’m going to make it again. Thanks!
