Apple, Walnut and Comté Fall Salad
Description
Since it has to be fall, let’s make the most of it with this delicious salad!
Ingredients
- 1 whole Apple
- 3-½ ounces, weight Comté Cheese (or Gruyere, Or Swiss Cheese)
- ½ cups Walnuts
- 3-½ ounces, weight Arugula
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
Preparation
1. Rinse, core and slice the apple. Dice the cheese. Add the apple, cheese, walnuts and arugula into a salad bowl, toss.
2. To make the vinaigrette: In a small bowl, combine oil, mustard and vinegar and beat with a fork. Season with salt and pepper. Add to the salad just before serving.
