Description

A tasty fall recipe that can be made quickly for the family.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shell Pasta
  • 8 ounces, weight Cooked Smoked Sausage, Halved Lengthwise And Cut Again Into 1-inch Pieces
  • 1 whole Golden Delicious Apple, Cored And Cut Into 1/2-inch Pieces
  • ½ cups Whipping Cream
  • ½ cups Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain. Set aside.

Using the same large pot over medium heat, cook sausage until lightly browned. Add the apples and cook, stirring occasionally, until apples are lightly golden (about 7 minutes).

Stir in the cooked pasta, whipping cream, and cheese. Heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

I dislike gorgonzola so I used cheddar instead, and it smelled exactly like those cheese & sausage plates you get at parties lol. It was delicious with this change!
