Description
Enjoy the taste of a sweet, juicy crisp apple mixed with the tangy taste of balsamic. Walnuts add the perfect nutty flavor combination and the feta cheese ties it all in. This salad is easy to put together and tastes great!
Ingredients
- 2 cups Spinach Lettuce, Chopped
- ½ whole Apple, Cored And Cut Into Bite Sized Pieces
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped Walnuts
- ⅛ cups Crumbled Feta Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinaigrette, To Taste
Preparation
In a bowl, place the spinach lettuce. Top with chopped apples and walnuts and sprinkle feta cheese over the top. Pour balsamic over the salad and enjoy!
This recipe has only 300 calories and 10 grams of carbs per serving!
Variation: make candied walnuts by pouring a light layer of agave over the walnuts then toasting them for several minutes in the oven. Add 60 calories for this variation.
