Description

Like your favorite salad, in a burger! A quick, easy, healthy and delicious meal! These are great for kids too!

Ingredients

  • 2  (1/4 Pound Size) Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 ounce, weight Fresh Parmesan Cheese, Sliced
  • 2  Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
  • 4 Tablespoons Reduced-fat Caesar Dressing, Of Choice
  • 2 leaves Romaine Lettuce
  • 2 slices Red Onion (optional)

Preparation

1. Preheat your grill to medium high heat.
2. Once the grill is hot, place the chicken breast on it and cook until they are no longer pink inside, about 5-6 minutes per side. Once you flip them, place half of the slices of cheese on each breast in the final few minutes of cooking, so that it gets nice and melted.
3. During the last few minutes of cooking, also place the buns on the grill, cut-side down so they get a little toasty and crunchy. Remove chicken and buns to a clean plate.
4. Spread some of the dressing on the cut side of each of the hamburger buns and top with lettuce leaves and red onion (if using.)
5. Place the chicken on top, add the top bun and devour.
