Flavorful ground beef, and melty cheese in a crunchy doritos crust. Bring your family to the table and have them begging for seconds!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a 9×13 inch pan with foil.
In a large skillet, cook onion and brown ground beef until no pink remains. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.
Add taco seasoning, and water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until reduced. Stir in cream of chickens soup.
Pour crushed Doritos into prepared pan. Top with beef mixture, beans, and cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.
Serve with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream, and cheese. I also like to drizzle mine with Catalina dressing.

This recipe didn’t turn out as I expected. It was good, we ate it. I was just surprised the chips on the bottom weren’t a bit incorporated into the dish. Could have had crushed Doritos served along side the dish in a bowl. Just wondering why they were added, just to have crunchy chips on the bottom? The recipe did not state whether to drain the pinto beans, or add the can and liquid and also? Additionally, it did not get bubbly, though I increased the time a few minutes.p, and watched it so I didn’t overdo it. Melted cheese, but not bubbly.
It was good, not great. The sour cream, lettuce and tomato on top helped.
