Tasty Kitchen Blog: Cheese Brownies. Guest post by Faith Gorsky of An Edible Mosaic, recipe submitted by TK member Monica (momx3girls).

I don’t know about you, but I love making unique recipes. I think part of the fun for me is when I serve them to my family and everyone tries to guess what they are because no one has ever seen them before! After seeing the title for Monica’s recipe for Cheese Brownies I was so intrigued, I knew I had to make them even before I knew what they were.

Tasty Kitchen Blog Cannoli Tart, recipe by The Seaside Baker, guest post by Jessica Merchant of How Sweet Eats.

Oh my goodness. You know when you have one of those desserts that completely knocks your socks off? This is it. And it’s simple, too. It’s like the new Holy Grail of treats! After seeing this Cannoli Tart from The Seaside Baker, I knew I had to make it immediately. And immediately I did—like nearly one day later. Not only did it pass my sweet tooth test with flying colors, the ricotta-hater loved it too. You know what that means. You must must must try it!

Tasty Kitchen Blog Nutella Pecan Pie

Thanks to Megan for sharing her recipe for Nutella Pecan Pie, because I have officially died and gone to heaven. Get this: Nutella is spread on the bottom of a homemade, pre-baked pie crust before adding in the gooey pecan filling and then baking it to perfection. It’s an absolutely brilliant idea, if you ask me.

Tasty Kitchen Blog: No-Knead Dinner Rolls. Guest post by Erica Kastner, recipe submitted by TK member Terri of That's Some Good Cookin'.

This recipe, brought to us by Terri, is about as low-fuss as yeast bread gets. All you have to do is mix everything in a large bowl, let it rise, form into buns, and bake once they’re puffy. Still skeptical about no-knead bread? Let me assure you, it is good. Like, really good: fluffy and flavorful and soft. Let me show you!

Apple Pie Egg Rolls

by in Baking, Step-by-Step Recipes

December 3, 2012 BakingStep-by-Step Recipes
Tasty Kitchen Blog: Apple Pie Egg Rolls. Guest post by Dara Michalski of Cookin' Canuck, recipe submitted by TK member Maya of Alaska from Scratch.

As soon as apples hit the market in the autumn, our minds turn to apple pie and turnovers, preferably accompanied by large spoonfuls of vanilla ice cream. However, if you’re running short on time, or are inexplicably freaked out by pie dough (like me), you may be tempted to whip up a dessert that incorporates all of the flavors of apple pie, without the fuss. Instead of rolling out pie dough, just cut open a package of egg roll wrappers, which can be found in most supermarkets. The apple pie filling is classic and simple: apples, sugar, lemon and spices. Bundle up the filling in the egg roll wrappers and bake. Half an hour later, you’ll be digging into these crispy treats.

Tasty Kitchen Blog: Cheddar Tailgating Bread. Guest post by Jessica Merchant of How Sweet It Is, recipe submitted by TK member Rebecca of Foodie with Family.

I hope you’re in the mood for something fantastically warm, gooey, comforting, and most of all, fun. We’re right in the heart of football season and who doesn’t love to bring the snack to the party that everyone can’t stop talking about? That’s exactly what this bread is. And more. I never need to be sold when cheese and bread are involved, so the instant I saw Rebecca’s recipe for Cheddar Tailgating Bread, I was halfway to the store grabbing the ingredients. Just you wait. We have a winner here, folks.

Tasty Kitchen Blog: Cranberry Orange Bars, guest post by Amber Potter of Sprinkled with Flour, recipe submitted by Stephanie of Eat. Drink. Love.

These Cranberry Orange Bars, shared by Stephanie, fit the bill perfectly. I love cranberry sauce, and these bars are the perfect combination of a sweetly tart cranberry sauce, sandwiched between a tasty cobbler-type crust and topping. Using just a few easy ingredients, you can have these bars whipped up in no time.
