Description

How potato salad is done at the Bullard house. This is a request I have everytime the family gets together. I usually put my Grandma’s family recipe for sweet school girl pickles in for the sweet pickles, but any sweet pickles will work fine in this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2-½ pounds New Potatoes
  • ½ teaspoons Celery Salt
  • 3 whole Hard-boiled Eggs, Grated
  • 1 cup Sweet Pickles, Chopped
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

Wash, but do not peel potatoes. Put them in a pot with enough water to cover potatoes, and cook until they are tender (approximately 30 minutes). Drain off the hot water and pour some cold water on top of the potatoes to cool them. When they are cool enough to handle dice the potatoes and place them in a large bowl. Add all of the other ingrediants and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to be served.

I checked your recipe box for the pickle recipe and the only recipe in your box is the potato salad. I can’t wait to make it and I’d love to see the pickle recipe too.
