Seven Layer Salad

Description
Wonderful salad with seven layers. The first thing I get at K&W cafeteria. Everyone has a recipe for this in my neck of the woods. This is how my Aunt Frances makes it.
Ingredients
- 1 head Iceberg Lettuce, Washed And Torn Into Bite Size Pieces
- 1 whole Cucumber, Seeded And Chopped Into Bite Size Pieces
- ¼ whole Onion, Chopped
- ½ cups Chopped Celery
- 1 can (Small 8.5 Oz. Can) Leseur Peas, Drained Or A Cup Of Frozen Green Peas Thawed
- 2 cups Duke's Mayonnaise
- 6 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ½ pounds Bacon, Cooked Drained And Chopped
Preparation
Combine the mayo and sugar. Layer the ingredients in a 9×13 dish in the order listed, spreading the mayo mixture over the salad before layering in the cheese and bacon.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Overnight is best.
