A twist on a classic. People will think you are nuts until they try this salad, then they will request it at every cookout!
Heat grill. Slice head of Romaine in half length-wise. Brush with olive oil.
Place cut-side down on the grill. Grill until the ends get a little crispy.
Chop lettuce and toss with the cheese and dressing. Add croutons, if desired.

I made this for dinner last night with grilled shrimp. Who would have guessed that grilled Romaine was so good?
