Description

Super simple and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Medium Shell Pasta
  • 15 ounces, weight Hellmann's Mayo
  • 1 bunch Flat-leaf Parsley, Chopped
  • 4 stalks Celery, Sliced
  • 24 ounces, weight Canned Chicken, Drained And Shredded With Fork
  • ½ cups Slivered Almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Preparation

1. Cook pasta in a pot of salted water according to package directions then drain and run cold water over it.

2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Can be kept in the fridge for a few days.

I have been making this pasta salad for years. Every time I ask if I can bring a dish to a party, this is the one everyone asks me to bring. It is so simple and so delicious!

The picture does not do this justice. This is an excellent pasta chicken salad and I have now made it several times. I live in Singapore and pot luck events are very common for us expat wives and this is a good choice. Canned chicken, however, not readily available so usually use a rotisserie chicken and actually prefer the end result. I have tried it with good canned chicken that I found at our newish food warehouse that sells Kirkland brand.
