Description

Great alternative pattie, using quinoa and tuna!

Ingredients

  • 1 can 5 Oz. Can Of Tuna, Drained
  • 1-½ cup Quinoa, Cooked Accoding To Package Instructions Then Cooled
  • 1  Egg
  • ½ cups Plain Bread Crumbs
  • ½ whole Lemon, Juiced
  • 2  Green Onions, Chopped
  • ½ Tablespoons Dried Parsley
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • Olive Oil, Enough To Cover The Bottom Of Your Frying Pan

Preparation

1. Using large pan add enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pan and heat on medium.
2. In the meantime combine tuna, quinoa, egg, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, onion, parsley, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
3. After all ingredients are mixed together roll and flatten into your preferred size of patties. Set patties on a plate.
4. Add some of the patties into the hot oil. Depending on size of your pan you may have to do this in two batches. Cook for 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove from pan using a spatula and place onto a paper towel lined plate. Repeat with the remaining patties.
5. Cool and enjoy!
