Description

It’s not everyday that your husband says this is one of the best things he’s ever tasted AND it came from the crock pot. This is a delicious alternative to your regular soft taco filling, and it has a little kick!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Chipotle Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 3 pounds Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs

Preparation

Combine dry indredients and coat ribs with rub. Place in slow cooker.

Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until browned and tender enough to shred.

Serve on soft flour tortillas with your favorite taco toppings.

I made this for work for Cinco de Mayo and it was a hit! I almost felt guilty that it was so easy. I put it in before I went to bed and had a crockpot full ready and done to take the next morning.

I had some boneless ribs in the freezer and was looking for a new recipe to try. This was wonderful! I shredded the meat for sandwiches with BBQ sauce one night and used it for tacos the next. Great flavor and very tender. Thanks!
