Description

Incredibly tasty hunks of meat marinated to perfection. Serve with mashed potatoes and a green bean casserole. The whole neighborhood will be at your door begging for a bite!

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds Pork Loin/shoulder, Cubed
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoons Italian Dressing
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegeta
  • 3 whole Bay Leaves
  • ½ Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, Or To Taste
  • 2 whole Bell Peppers (green And Yellow) Cubed
  • 1 whole Onion, Quartered
  • 1 container Cherry Tomatoes
  • Vinegar, For Spritzing While Grilling

Preparation

Make sure your meat is nicely cubed. Place in a pot and put in the next six ingredients (starting from the mayo) and marinate overnight.

(Hint: When you go to the store to buy your meat, make sure to have your butcher cube it for you. It saves a ton of time.)

Cube all veggies and place in plastic bags in preparation for the next day.

(Now, the one ingredient that I’m sure may seem a little foreign is the Vegeta. You can find this at any European/Slavic store in your area. All it is is a bunch of MSG that makes everything taste SO good. You can do this recipe without it and substitute it with a bit of chicken bouillon and a pinch of fresh garlic in the marinade. But it’s so much better with Vegeta.)

Make sure to have a bottle with vinegar to spritz over the skewers as you are bbq-ing them. (We use a water bottle with holes poked in the lid. Also, take a pinch of diced onions and add it to the vinegar.)

Assemble your kabobs with the meat and veggies, and grill to your desired doneness.
