Put chicken pieces in a large saute pan. Season with poultry seasoning and add garlic. Cook over medium heat, covered for 15–20 minutes or when internal temperature reaches 162ºF.
Remove chicken from the pan and deglaze pan with the chicken broth. Add the pomegranate arils and butter. Cook for 3 minutes, then lower heat to low and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
Once sauce is at the desired consistency, add basil and butter and stir well. Pour over top of chicken and serve.
