Description

A quick, easy and healthy one-pan meal filled with healthy fish, broccoli, and delicious lemon flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 100 milliliters White Wine
  • 150 milliliters Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Capers
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1  Lemon, Juiced
  • 200 grams White Fish Fillets
  • 250 grams Broccoli, Cut In Florets, Stem Peeled And Chopped

Preparation

Set oven for 200°C (390°F).

Heat a wide pan that can be placed in the oven (such as a cast iron skillet) over medium-high heat. Melt butter in the pan, then pour in wine and bring to a boil. Let reduce for 2–3 minutes.

Add cream and bring back to a boil. Reduce for 2–3 minutes more.

Add lemon juice and bring back to a boil. Cook for a minute. Take off heat and add capers. Taste and season with salt.

Place the fish filets in the bottom of the pan and place broccoli on top. Spoon up some sauce and coat the broccoli. Cook in the middle of the oven for 10–15 minutes, depending on what fish you choose. For thin fillets, 10 minutes is enough; for thicker fish fillets like cod, 15 minutes might be needed. Check by poking a fork through the fish—if it’s flaky, comes apart easily and is white inside, it is done.

Serve as is, or over rice.
