Description

A quick and easy meal with a delicious robust taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Uncooked Mostaccioli Pasta (Or Penne Pasta)
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Real Bacon Bits (Or Crumbled Cooked Bacon)
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder (Heaping)
  • 5 dashes Salt (or Salt To Taste)
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • ¼ cups Crumbled Blue Cheese Plus Extra For Garnish
  • 2 teaspoons Chopped Fresh Italian Parsley
  • ¼ cups Chopped Green Onion For Garnish

Preparation

Cook the pasta according to package instructions for al dente. Drain the pasta. Once all of the water is drained, put the pasta back into the pan. Add the butter, bacon, garlic powder, salt, pepper and olive oil. Heat the pan on low heat just long enough to melt the butter (about 4 minutes). Stir it as the butter is melting. Remove from heat and while the pasta is warm add the blue cheese and the parsley. Put it into a pasta bowl and garnish with the green onions and additional blue cheese. Serve while warm.

Whoa! That sounds awesome. Well, you had me at pasta, then blue cheese, and then bacon, of course!
