Great for dinner!
1. Boil potatoes in salt water until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
2. Preheat oven to 400F.
3. In skillet, heat a splash of olive oil.
4. Sauté cabbage and onion and add chicken stock. Cook until tender.
5. Add ham and heat through.
6. Fill small baking dish half full with the ham and cabbage mixture.
7. Top with mashed potatoes (NOTE: Way better if you pipe potatoes with a piping bag to create peaks).
8. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
9. Bake until cheese melts and potatoes are lightly browned.

I didn’t know cabbage could taste so good! The changes I made were (a) I used Turkey Kolbasa because a guest of mine doesn’t eat pork or red meat and (b) I substituted some Guiness in place of the chicken stock because I was challenging myself to use Guiness with every part of the meal!
It was a great success… So full of taste. And a beautiful presentation too! Thank you for sharing…
