Description

Grilled pizza! Yes, you heard me correctly, and it’s so tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Medium Pizza Dough
  • Olive Oil
  • ⅓ cups Basil Pesto
  • 8 ounces, weight Ball Of Fresh Mozzarella, Dried Well
  • ¼ pounds Prosciutto Thinly Sliced
  • 1 cup Arugula

Preparation

Heat up the grill so that it’s at 375ºF.

Roll out the dough so that it’s nice and thin and drizzle some olive oil on the top. Brush the oil so that it’s all over the dough.

Spray the cooking spray on the grill and lay the dough with the oil side face down. Let it cook until it bubbles up and is slightly brown. Cooking times may vary (mine took about 5-8 minutes per side).

While the dough is cooking, drizzle some more olive oil on it and brush. Flip the dough and brush the entire top of the pizza with basil pesto. Coat so that the entire pizza has the basil pesto.

Top with sliced rounds of the mozzarella (dry cheese with paper towels to soak up water) and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes. Remove from the grill with tongs or spatulas and top with long strips of the prosciutto and argula.

Right before you serve the pizza, drizzle with a little more olive oil.
