Description

This is the real thing – creamy, cheesy and just right! None of the light stuff here, baby!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2-½ cups Heavy Cream
  • 1-½ cup Parmigiano Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Cream Cheese
  • 1 pound Fettucini Pasta, Cooked Per Package Directions
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 dash Salt

Preparation

Melt the butter in a skillet and lightly saute the garlic. Do not brown the garlic.

Add the cream/half and half mixture and bring to a simmer.

Add the cheeses and allow to melt. Add salt and pepper.

Mix with the cooked (and drained) pasta.

Delish! I did add some portabello mushrooms while the garlic was in the pan with the butter. Will definitely make again!

Love this!!! it comes out perfect every single time. It’s easy to customize a bit, too. I sometimes add just a bit of lemon juice or some crushed red pepper for some heat. I often use romano cheese, rather than parm.

Wow, this was so good. The cream cheese really made the difference. I used whole wheat pasta just to make me feel less guilty about eating it! :-)
