Description

The perfect burger for anyone who loves Buffalo wing sauce!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BURGERS:
  • ¼ cups Hot Sauce (I Used Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce)
  • 1  Egg, Lightly Beaten
  • ¼ cups Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 pound Lean Ground Turkey
  • FOR THE BUFFALO BLUE CHEESE SAUCE
  • ⅓ cups Plain, Non-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 3 Tablespoons Light Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon Hot Sauce, More If You Like It Hotter
  • 1 teaspoon Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Tablespoon Crumbled Blue Cheese
  • FOR THE ASSEMBLY:
  • 6  Buns
  • 6  Red Onion Slices
  • 6  Tomato Slices
  • 6 leaves Lettuce
  • Blue Cheese
  • Buffalo Wing Sauce

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl combine the hot sauce, beaten egg, panko breadcrumbs, ranch seasoning mix, and minced garlic. Add the ground turkey and gently combine everything with your hands. Form the turkey mixture into 6 patties and place them on a plate or baking sheet.

Heat your grill or grill pan to medium high heat.

In the meantime, combine all of the ingredients for the Buffalo blue cheese sauce in a bowl and whisk together until smooth.

Grill the burgers over medium high heat for about 4 minutes on each side. Remove them from the grill to a clean plate.

Serve the burgers on buns topped with blue cheese, tomato, red onion, lettuce, more Buffalo wing sauce, and the Buffalo blue cheese sauce.

Notes: If you don’t like blue cheese you can omit it from the Buffalo blue cheese sauce and top the burger with cheddar cheese instead of blue cheese.
