A fast, easy, pasta salad version of the classic caprese salad.
Cook pasta according to package directions (add lots of salt to the water to add flavor to the final dish). Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
In a large bowl, de-seed tomatoes and chop to a size similar to the pasta. Cut string cheese into a similar size, add to bowl. Add salt and pepper. Be generous with your salt (tomatoes love it!) and light with your pepper. Add the rest of the dried spices and mix.
Combine pasta and tomato mixture. Add the whole bottle of Italian salad dressing. Mix and then top with basil leaves cut into small strips. This always tastes even better after a few hours in the fridge.
