In a world of ranch lovers, I’m a 1,000 Island girl. I’ve been experimenting with making 1,000 Island Dressing for awhile. I’m in search of the perfect ‘steak house 1,000 island.’ This recipe has the right combo of flavors (for me)—not too sweet, not too sour.
Boil, and dice eggs. Mix all ingredients, chill, and serve over salad, or with sandwiches.
You can also substitue relish for the bread and butter pickles. Sometimes I also add a tablespoon of ketchup, and diced bell peppers.

This is the only kind of Thousand Island dressing I like (hate the pickle-stuff).
If I’m in a hurry, I can thin some mayo, ad some chili sauce and mix in the chopped egg, and I’m good to go but your REAL recipe is way better.
