This is my favorite recipe for potlucks and barbecues. It’s a different twist from the standard macaroni salad recipe, and it is easy to adjust the ingredients to make a bigger batch. It makes a tasty lunch on its own.
Cook macaroni according to package directions. Rinse with cool water. Toss with oil in large bowl.
Whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Pour over macaroni.
Toss with ham, cheese, green onions and peas.
Chill one hour before serving.

Very creamy. The sugar definitely adds a sweetness to the dressing. I loved it!
