Inspired by Tony’s Pizzeria in San Francisco, I’m so happy to share this recipe for Agave Garlic Chicken!
For the glaze:
At least 30 minutes before starting to cook the chicken, in a small bowl, combine agave, garlic and Italian seasoning. Allow it to sit so that the garlic and seasonings can flavor the agave. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Season the chicken breasts with the poultry seasoning of your choice.
In a large pan, saute chicken with butter. Cook until juices run clear and internal temperature is 165°F.
Salt and pepper the chicken pieces, then allow to rest for 5 minutes. Coat with the glaze and serve.
