How about a fast, healthy meal that’s ready – start to finish – in under 10 minutes? And it’s crispy and delicious, too!
Lightly season both sides of the tilapia fillets with kosher salt and pepper to taste.
On a separate plate, mix the flour, seasoning and lemon zest.
Lightly dredge each tilapia fillet in the flour mixture, coating each side and pressing coating onto flesh so that it sticks.
In a large non-stick skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Place the coated fish in the skillet and let it cook, untouched, for 2 minutes. Flip the fish and cook for 2 more minutes on the other side, leaving it untouched in the pan during this time.
Remove fish to a platter. Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.

I don’t really like fish, but you know doctors tell you to eat more of it. This recipe was fantastic!, I am a tilapia convert.!

I made this tonight and everyone LOVED it! I put some fresh lemon on the fish with the salt and pepper first, and it was done perfectly! Thank you for the great idea. I made a quick tartar sauce, mayo, mustard, pickle relish, salt and lemon and it complemented it perfectly.

I am not a fish lover but his recipe changed my mind. The fish was tender, moist and flaky with a delicious crispy crunch! I will be eating a lot of fish from now on.

The fish sounds good…but what I really like is the plate! Is it a pattern readily available now, or an older or hard-to-find piece?
