I’ve adapted a pasta salad recipe I found online many moons ago to my liking!
Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, and chicken bouillon in a small bowl and mix well.
In large bowl combine pasta, bacon, tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
Add dressing to the salad and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste if desired.
Chill and serve!

i made this last weekend, but left some room open for what looked fresh at the grocer’s. i ended up adding small bits of fresh broccoli (for B!) to counteract the bacon, as well as different kinds of diced peppers. also, i like my cold salads with a little tang, so i included a little white vinegar to the mix.
and my bad: i reread the recipe multiple times but somehow missed the chicken bouillon. no matter, i probably would have left it out anyway, not knowing better. now that i’ve made it i see where it might boost the flavor– it seems that this is more flavorful at room temp, but loses the punch once cold. i don’t usually take much salt in my recipes, but this needed more.
in all, this was cool, refreshing, and tasty, and we had plenty leftover to snack on, even after we made a late supper on it. i like the possibilities, too, and the bacon was a neat surprise. thanks!
