Description

This is my go-to salad whenever we have a large group over or are invited someplace where there will be a lot of people. Superbowl anyone?

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Large Head Of Broccoli, Cut Into Bite Sized Pieces
  • 2 cups Red Grapes, Sliced In Half Lengthwise
  • 1 cup Slivered Almonds
  • 1 cup Dried Cherries, Raisins, Or Dried Cranberries
  • 6 whole Scallions, Chopped
  • ¼ cups Cooked Bacon Pieces
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix mayo, vinegar, and sugar together in a small bowl.

Pour mayo mixture over broccoli mixture and combine well. Serve right away or chill for a few hours.

We had this for our Easter Brunch. It is a wonderfully delicious salad and very easy to prepare. I made exactly as shown in recipe and my family told me it was “awesome”.

I love broccoli but usually only serve it steamed for dinner or raw with dips. My mother-in-law asked me to make a broccoli salad for our Thanksgiving dinner, so of course I came to Tasty Kitchen to see what awesome recipes were available. Amy, this salad was awesome (was because it was devoured!)…my husband gave me the twisted face look when I told him what I was making…he had two servings himself, would of been more but it was gone! Can’t wait to make this again…thanks so much for sharing your recipe.
