Description

Onion, green pepper, celery and canned vegetables in a sweet oil-vinegar dressing. Can stay in the refrigerator for over a week, just gets crispier.

Good with almost any meat, even along side a sandwich. Don’t let the looks fool you. It’s delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Green Beans, French Style
  • ½ cans Small Green Peas
  • 1 jar Diced Pimentos
  • 1 whole Onion, Large; Chopped
  • 1 whole Green Pepper, Large, Chopped
  • 4 stalks Celery, Diced
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Canola Oil
  • ½ cups Apple Cider Vinegar

Preparation

Drain well the French style Green Beans, Green Peas, and Pimentos.

Add chopped onion, green pepper and celery.

Mix vinegar and sugar till sugar melts. Add canola oil. Stir into vegetables.

Chill well, preferably overnight. Even better two days.
