Description

One of my mother’s friends shared this recipe with our family back in 2000. It has been a family favorite ever since and every time I take it to a gathering people love it and want the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Tropical Fruit
  • 1 can Sliced Peaches (freestone Peaches Work Nicely)
  • 1 can Mandarin Oranges
  • 1 package Lemon Instant Pudding (small Box)
  • 2 whole Bananas, Sliced
  • 1 pint Strawberries, Sliced

Preparation

DO NOT DRAIN FRUITS

Mix fruits together in a bowl.

Add one small package lemon instant pudding to fruits and mix well.

Chill several hours.

When ready to serve you may add sliced bananas and sliced strawberries.

Enjoy!

A great idea! We used instant vanilla, a large can of pineapple chunks and a can of mandarin oranges. (think the size of the veggie cans in the store.) This seemed like we ended up with a little too much liquid so next time I’ll reduce it slightly. I think the lemon pudding will be great in the future but family is angling for me to use only vanilla or chocolate. I LOVE how easy it was and I can finally get the kids to eat a fruit dessert after a heavy meal!

Quick and easy. Can’t go wrong with fruit and pudding.
