Description

Do you have those recipes that make your mouth water when you think about making them? This is one of them for me! It’s super easy to make and scrumptious. Perfect for a quick meal on a weeknight.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Uncooked Penne Pasta
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • ¼ cups Butter, Cubed
  • ¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 can (14.5 Oz. Can) Chicken Broth
  • 1 can 5 Oz. Can Evaporated Milk
  • 1 pound Cooked Medium Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined
  • ⅔ cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Minced Fresh Parsley
  • 1-½ teaspoon Seafood Seasoning

Preparation

1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Make sure not to overcook them or your noodles turn to mush when you mix it with the pasta sauce!

2. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute garlic in butter. I used my hand dandy little grater to grate my garlic and it works amazing. If you don’t have one, I think it’s worth the investment.

3. Stir in flour until blended; gradually add broth and milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened.

4. Stir in shrimp (make sure they are peeled and deveined!), cheese, parsley and seafood seasoning. Heat through.

5. Drain pasta; place in a large bowl. Add shrimp mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Add a little more seafood seasoning next time to jazz it up :)

Really quite good! My husband and kids loved it. I didn’t change a thing but it felt like it needed just a little more seasoning. I’m adding this to the monthly rotation :) Thanks!
