Description

Salmon Patties with a Cilantro Aioli, great for burgers or on their own!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SALMON PATTIES:
  • 8 ounces, weight Salmon
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 2 whole Green Onions, Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Lower-sodium Soy Sauce
  • ½ whole Lemon, Juiced
  • ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil, For Frying
  • FOR THE CILANTRO AIOLI:
  • 2 Tablespoons Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • ½ whole Lemon, Juiced
  • ½ bunches Cilantro, Chopped
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper

Preparation

For the salmon patties:
Carefully remove the skin from the salmon and then chop. Place salmon in a large bowl along with the panko, egg, garlic, onions, soy sauce, lemon, and pepper. Mix well, adding more panko if mixture is too runny.

Heat olive oil in a large pan or skillet. Form salmon into 2 flat patties then fry until cooked, about 2 minutes per side.

Serve with cilantro aioli (see below) and enjoy!

For the cilantro aioli:
Mix together yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon, cilantro, and pepper in a small bowl. Serve with salmon, and enjoy!
