A simple and tasty one skillet dish. Perfect for a weeknight meal!
In a large skillet with a lid, brown the hamburger over medium heat until no longer pink. Add the envelope of onion soup mix and pepper. Stir in the can of diced tomatoes, you could use a flavored can here if you like, Italian or garlic etc. Add in a can of water, the uncooked pasta, the ketchup and hot sauce. Put the lid on the skillet and let the pasta shells cook. Check often to make sure there is enough liquid, add a little more water if needed.
Once the pasta is tender (use the package instructions as a guideline for time) stir in the grated parmesan cheese. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, top with the grated mozzarella cheese and put the lip on until melted.
Serve!
