Description

A classic hearty comfort food. It is super easy to make and it tastes amazing!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 whole Onion, Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 can Cream Of Mushroom Soup (10 Oz. Can)
  • ¼ cups Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • ½ bags Frozen Tater Tots, 1kg. Bag
  • 1 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables

Preparation

Heat your oven to 375 F.

In a large sauté pan cook the beef over medium high heat until cooked through and starting to brown. Drain off any excess fat.

Add the onions and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes until the onions begin to soften and the garlic is fragrant. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire and basil and season with salt and pepper. Add the mushroom soup and milk and stir to combine and heat through. Turn off the heat and stir in the frozen veggies.

Pour the beef mixture into a 9×9-inch lightly greased casserole dish then layer on the cheese and top with the tater tots.

Bake for 45 minutes or until it is hot and bubbly and the tots are brown and crisp.

Serve with a nice green salad and you have a perfect comforting dinner.
