Description

Yummy casserole for gatherings!

Ingredients

  • 2 packages Frozen Broccoli Spears (10 Oz)
  • 2 cups Chicken (cooked & Shredded)
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder, Or To Taste
  • 2 cans (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Curry Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper To Taste
  • ½ cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ cups Toasted Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Melted Butter

Preparation

Cook broccoli according to package directions. Drain. Place in a greased 8×11 baking dish. Top with cooked chicken. Sprinkle with garlic powder.

Mix together soups, mayonnaise, lemon juice, curry powder and cayenne. Pour mixture over chicken and broccoli. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine bread crumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Wow, is this a tasty memory evoking dish! It is so comforting and a great all in one to take to a neighbor or shut in and makes plenty to have some yourself. Have made it many times and forgot to comment but would give it 10 stars if possible. Make it tonight and you’ll have a family favorite!!!

Thanks for posting this recipe! My Grandpa used to make this for us and it was always a favorite. I was just looking for the recipe because I couldn’t quite remember it and when I saw yours I knew that was it! I made it a couple nights ago and it tasted just like I remembered. Comfort food for me.
