This was good and so simple. Hubby, is very skeptical on pasta dishes since he is a meat man really enjoyed this one. I did add a tad more cream than the 1/2 cup; it didn’t seem like quite enough for me to coat all the pasta.

I loved this–but I think apollosonacres’s review was right. There wasn’t enough sauce to coat 1 lb of pasta to my liking, so I doubled the cream and the cheese (1 cup of each), eliminated the butter, and used a whole onion. Made like that, it was perfect! Even my husband (who doesn’t normally like stovetop mac and cheese type dishes) was impressed, and that’s saying a lot.

My husband and I loved this dish. We used the sauce as called for, but I caramelized a whole onion and used seven pieces of diced bacon. I also only cooked about half a pound of pasta since it was just the two of us… probably why the quantity of sauce was perfect. I’ll definitely make this again.

This was quite yummy. Even my picky daughters were willing to try it (HUGE step) and one of them devoured it. I can see adding some peas in the future, but it is delicious as is. I used a bit more cream and cheese based on the other reviews Definitely a dish I will make again.

I was surprised at how good this was. And how easy it was to make.

I agree with the 1 cup of cream and 1 cup of cheese. We had this tonight and will make again.

I do not like pasta but went out on a limb because I do like Johnny Carinos Bowtie Festival. This dish is AWESOME! I cut the amount of pasta down and used more cream & cheese to make it more saucy but we had it two weeks in a row it was so good! Definitely have this one bookmarked!

will def make this weekend, one question, before adding back the bacon, onion and creme, do you wipe free the pan or leave some of the bacon fat in the pan?
