Description

I don’t know what to say about this recipe other than I love it and it’s easy and I want some right now.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened, Divided Use
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken, Cubed (about 3 Breasts)
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 packages Crescent Rolls, 8 Ounce Packages
  • ⅔ cups Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Chicken Soup

Preparation

Mix cream cheese and 1/4 cup of butter.

Mix the chicken, pepper, and salt into the cream cheese mixture.

Open the crescent roll cans and lay out the dough. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto each crescent roll triangle. Fold and seal edges of each triangle so that nothing comes out.

Melt the other 1/4 cup of butter into a bowl and place the bread crumbs in a separate bowl.

Roll each chicken pillow into the butter and then gently roll it around in the bread crumbs to cover.

Bake at 350 for about 30 to 40 minutes in a 13×9 baking pan.

Heat the cream of chicken soup. Serve this ladled over the rolls or sometimes I use cheese dip when I’m feeling frisky!

I have a similar recipe that skips the cream of chicken topping, so that sounds really interesting to try! I do have to say that this is super easy and the whole family loves it. I love to add some chopped green onions in with the cream cheese – YUM!
