This is incredibly delicious! I’ve used store-bought marinara sauce instead of the tomatoes, wine, and sugar, and it’s also tasty. This wonderful dish went straight into my dinner rotation.

I made this months ago after seeing it “demoed” on Pioneer Woman. It was easy and amazing and I had everything on hand. It’s in my permanent recipe collection.

This meal makes my mouth water…and I practically have to do all in my power to NOT continuously eat the sauce out of the pan as it is cooking. I love it! Just served it to my husband’s family for his grandmother’s birthday and had NO leftovers. I love serving it over angel hair.

This is The Best Thing I’ve EVER had in my mouth.
(I know…this sounds dirty. But it’s true.)
Sooooooooooooooo delicious.
I could make it every week for the rest of my life and still love it.
Yum Yum Yum.
(Oh, and I subbed a can of diced tomatoes, including the juice for one of the cans of crushed tomatoes. Looking forward to trying it with fresh-from-the-garden ‘maters.)
FYI: I use a Malbec that we love to drink in this recipe.

I made this for my dad on Father’s Day and it was soooo good! I loved the way my house smelled – delish!
I’m going to save this recipe for when I meet Mr. Fantastic…uh, heck, never mind – don’t want to wait that long to make it again!

This turned out pretty well, even though next time I think I am going to try using a flour/breadcrumbs mixture since the crust was crunchy enough for my taste. But the cheese and sauce was perfect! And the chicken stayed nice and moist.

Made this tonight for some picky men. They loved it! I’ve never made chicken parmigiana before so I was worried about not using the wine but it turned out fabulous! Thanks for the recipe.

Absolutely delicious! This is now a favorite in my home that will be made over and over. My husband used the word “divine” when describing the sauce.

My husband liked this more than I did. If I make it again, I’d probably add a few more spices to the tomato sauce. Maybe some basil and extra parsley.

I love that this chicken parm recipe doesn’t involve heavily breaded chicken. I love breaded chicken as much as the next girl, but with chicken parm…it’s about the sauce and the cheese, and everything coming together. I love this recipe–the wine really adds something to the sauce, and I have taken to adding a splash of red wine to any and all tomato-based pasta sauces, even when I’m just heating up the jarred kind! YUM-tastic–thanks, Ree!

SO good. I probably put on way too much parmesan but it had to be done. My favourite stage: watching the parmesan bubble away on top of the chicken in the pan. Served up with some rosemary bread. DElish.

Can anyone suggest an alternative to the red wine?
