Great alternative to a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer, or a great meal idea.
Shrimp are a great protein source and are low in fat. They have a higher cholesterol content when compared to other low fat protein sources, but should not be avoided because of that! They have omega-3 fatty acids, which are heart healthy and can help decrease inflammation in the body.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
Add all of the seasonings to olive oil in a large bowl. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Spread shrimp onto a large baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until shrimp are cooked through. Yum!

Is shrimp cocktail sauce bad for you?

Tried this last night- I used some cajun seasoning since I had some of that instead of dried thyme, which I didn’t have… and added a little extra cayenne than the recipe calls for. delicious! Will definitely make it again.

I could eat shrimp everyday. They are a great part of a healthy diet too. Can’t wait to try. Thanks!
