Description

I have been subjected to Jello salads for my entire life. (I do live in the South, after all, and the Jello salad is a staple here!) This is BY FAR my personal favorite Jello salad in the whole wide world!

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces, weight Strawberry Jello Mix
  • 2 cups Water
  • 14 ounces, weight Canned Jellied Cranberry Sauce
  • 20 ounces, weight Crushed Pineapple, Drained
  • 1 tub Frozen Sliced Strawberries In Sugar (14 Oz)
  • ½ cups Chopped Pecans

Preparation

Boil 2 cups of water. Mix in the strawberry Jello. Once the Jello is dissolved, add jellied cranberry sauce while the Jello mixture is still warm. Mush it in with a potato masher. (Mush is a technical culinary term, ya know!) Add drained crushed pineapple and sliced strawberries. Mix in chopped pecans. Pour into a large pretty bowl. Refrigerate until firm.
