I like to break the rules.
1. Layer the peach, plum, and cheese in alternating slices on a plate or platter. Tuck basil leaves in and around.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
3. Drizzle dressing around the edge of the platter and serve.
Note: This amount will serve 2 as a very light salad or appetizer. Be prepared to want more.
