Description

I gave it the name Skittle Jello because my daughter said the taste reminds her of the Skittle candies. I don’t agree because I don’t care for Skittles, but love the light airy texture and flavor of this jello. I first of all came up with this recipe for my daughter’s wedding. I love how simple yet tasty it is. It seems to be a hit every time I make it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 boxes (3 Oz. Box) Grape Jello (Any Flavor)
  • 16 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 32 ounces, weight Cool Whip

Preparation

Bring water to boil. Take off heat and add jello. Stir till jello is dissolved. Put jello in a container and put it in the refrigerator till it jells. After it is completely jelled, put half of the jello in a blender and blend till jello turns light in color and has a kind of creamy texture. Add half of the cream cheese and blend till it is totally blended with jello, then add half of the Cool Whip and do the same. Put into a serving bowl and do the same with the rest of the jello, cream cheese and Cool Whip. Put in the refrigerator for an hour or till jelled again and serve.
