Tuna is my go-to healthy food. Packed with protein and important minerals, it is nutrient dense, calorie light and super filling. Perfect for getting out of those post-Christmas stretchy pants. It’s also affordable and delicious, especially when these Indian flavours get involved!
1. Dice the carrot, celery and red onion as finely as required (or preferred).
2. Mix the tuna with the raisins and the mayonnaise. Stir well to combine.
3. Mix the vegetables with the tuna mix and stir thoroughly. Dress with vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and curry powder and stir some more. Serve on crackers, toast or just eat like a salad as is.
This meal is loaded with protein, very filling, totally delicious, cheap and easy.
