Fresh picked tomatoes paired with sweet Vidalia onion, fresh basil, white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
The ultimate fresh tomato last minute dish.
*All amounts are estimates, depending on what you have on hand, and if this is used as a lunch (2 servings) or side dish for dinner (4 servings) and size of the fruits.
Wash, dry, and cut up tomatoes as desired (fork-able cuts are best). Cut the onion in half and slice. Tear up the basil leaves or chop them roughly.
Toss it all gently in an appropriately sized bowl and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Drizzle a little vinegar & oil just before serving.
