Easy Broccoli Salad
Description
Similar to several broccoli salad recipes I’ve seen on here. Here is my fast version of it that I’ve been using for years and years.
Ingredients
- 2 bunches Broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup Small Red Onion, Sliced Thin
- 1 package Craisins
- 1 cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1 pound Bacon, Cooked And Crumbled (I Also Use Oscar Mayers Real Bacon Recipe Pieces When I\'m In A Hurry)
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
- ½ cups Real Mayonnaise (NOT Miracle Whip)
Preparation
Mix together broccoli pieces, Craisins, red onion, sunflower seeds and crumbled bacon into a large bowl. Set aside.
Combine sugar with vinegar and whip to dissolve. Mix in mayo and pour over salad.
Chill until ready to serve.
I often double the dressing recipe for the salad. I like it a little extra “juicy”
