It sounds strange, but this is a tasty addition to any potluck or family get-together!
In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in hot water. Once dissolved, add cold water. Chill mixture until slightly thickened. Break up cranberry sauce with a fork. Stir it into the gelatin along with the pecans. Fold in sour cream. Pour into individual molds or a 1 quart mold. Refrigerate until firm.
