Buttermilk Congealed Salad

Description
A refreshing salad that no one will know contains buttermilk unless you tell them. Great for a summertime dessert
Ingredients
- 12 ounces, weight Crushed Pineapple
- 1 package Apricot Jell-O (6 Oz. Package)
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 9 ounces, weight Cool Whip
Preparation
In a large saucepan bring the undrained pineapple and Jell-O to a boil. Stir until Jell-O dissolves. Allow to cool to room temperature.
Add buttermilk and Cool Whip to the Jell-O mixture after it has cooled. Stir until well mixed. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan and chill in the refrigerator until set.
